I put Pirelli P zero tires on my Taycan 21 4s with 20 inch rims.I love the ride on those tires unfortunately after 15k miles the tires need replacement.I have not raced the car and live in a tire friendly part of the country ie Florida.Has anybody have a similar longevity experience with these tires?

I have 21 pzero summer and down to 5mm with 4k miles. Based on the other tire threads 15k seems pretty good..

You got 15K out of P-Zeros? You did amazing.

Those tires are known for two things:
  • Wonderful grip
  • Terrible longevity
plus good in the wet

Had many fast cars with PZero’s. None got near 15k miles. It just isn’t a long distance tyres and the car is heavy and corners very fast.

Good grip, albeit I always felt like it didn’t give you warning before it dropped off

I'm partial to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Good grip with much better longevity.

I had Continentals at first, they wore quickly and were dangerous in the wet.

P - Zero's would never be a conscious purchase for me. They are good in wet conditions, but as others have stated, they do not wear well. They grip okay, but not great. They do tell you when they are about to let go. I have had particularly bad luck with these tires on the Taycan. 3 punctures in less than a year. I have had these tires on various 991 911's never had the problem with punctures as with this configuration.

Michelin Pilot Sport - My choice. Good wet tire for a summer tire. Grip speaks for itself, many folks track these tires regularly and they hold up. I won't drive them in cold temps.

Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 - best all around performance winter tire.

I have 6k on my PZeros and they look nearly new. And I drive very hard. But I’m in a temperate climate, 50-65 most days.

General concensus is the Pirelli's are like Italian Ice Cream.....very sticky, but don't last long.

I am another advocate of Michelin PS4.
Got my car (RWD) back from the dealer 2 days ago after the uPdate with a full health check included.

I've just tipped over 10k miles and tread is even wear at about 5 - 5.5mm across all 4 tyres.

I think they only come with 7mm when new!?

Rubber compound is soft hence the wear.

Michelin's rule for longevity IMHO.
