2.8 all 4 on the 21 summer

2.6 front 2.7 back on 20 winter
Thanks.

41psi in real money and what my rears currently are. Dealer set fronts to 36psi....Will see how they're doing.

Good point. However, the vehicle video report from the dealer says worn shoulders and only that I should think of changing tyres. So hopefully good for a few miles yet - especially if they can be flipped side to side.
Whilst I normally roll my eyes at dealers saying tyres need looking at when there's usually loads left on them, IME the shoulders can go off quickly (mine deflated in what didn't feel like very long after the car had been serviced/checked, though if I were empirical about it, it would probably have been several thousand miles!).

I was lucky in that the tyres deflated quite slowly (handling wasn't massively impacted until that point) so limped to a tyre place once it was spotted....(I actually thought I'd picked up nails!). But they could let go in a worse way IMO... so keep a close eye on them.

Got some similar concerning news on my rears.

I had Pirelli P-Zero on from new and they lasted 9,000 miles - all 4 nicely evenly worn. (21”)

I’ve very recently put on Hankook Ion Evo. They’ve done 2,500 miles and my OPC (while fixing something else) sent a video showing heavily worn inner edges on rears. Very frustrating if it’s killed a set in 2,500 miles!

I am confused why it didn’t appear to happen on the Pirelli though - my driving habits haven’t changed. Run 36psi on rears (did on Pirelli too) and 99% at Normal chassis height.

Now that you point this out, I will add that both my winter 20 set and 21 summer set are on pirelli, and never had the issue. So maybe there is something to it ?

To be fair I'd rather replace tyres more often than run Pirellis :)

I’m having the same problem with the inner edges of the front Michelin tyres on my CT 4S at 13k miles. Found this out only as a result of my dealer (Bristol Porsche) having the car in for 12v battery discharge issues. The car had to be taken there on a low loader but that’s another story. It is almost impossible to see this wear on the Inner edges unless the car is in the air.
i would be really interested to know if your alignment changes fixed, or even helped, the problem. Also do you have any independent alignment recommendations - you mention a video which I have been unable to find. I’m based in SE Somerset so not too far from the coast.
Thanks
My car fortunate enough to have problems with inner wall wear fortunately. Mix of sport and normal suspension. Mostly normal, but plenty of motorway stuff which is at a lower suspension setting i believe.

Anyway, my tyres have generally only lasted 13-14k anyway, albeit with even wear.

Thanks for all the comments here - really useful.

I am replacing the factory Pirelli's at 16k on the back with nice even wear. Admittedly Porsche wanted to change them probably 4k ago but I decided to wear them down as they had loads left in them.

Just checked the fronts (as I knicked a side wall on a porthole this weekend) and much like many of you have mentioned the inside is nearly bald on the off-side front and only slightly better on the near-side. Loads of tread left across the tyre.

Mainly country driving, and short runs. I do drive with the suspension in low often and admittedly have had a few decent motorway runs in the last month with the car dropping to the lowest ride height. Don't tend to change the suspension settings. Might have to stay at the 'normal' ride height going forward,

4 x Michelins on order for tomorrow.

Had my MOT done today. Tyres are OK, but wearing on the inner edges.

Hankooks this time. And the tyres are well and truly pumped to door sticker pressures.

So it's defo not brand or pressures IMO.

I suspect I'm going to end up getting around 15mths out of them, and maybe 12-15k miles. I'm usually pretty light on tyres, but I guess given the performance and weight of the car that's not the most horrendous.

Next check when I get a new set of tyres will be to align at the lowest setting.

Have you reconsidered adjusting the suspension settings (toe and camber) to be more in keeping with the lowered ride height? I spoke to CarbonWurks (the south coast people who did that video) and they claim to have had success with several Taycans by taking this route.

Adding another data point against the Pirellis. Replaced one front and one rear at roughly 1k & 1.5k total miles due to nails. Now 8k miles later the SA just messaged that I'm at 3mm remaining on 3 tires (the 4th was the most recent replacement) and need to replace them very soon. He didn't mention uneven wear, but did suggest an alignment anyway. Having looked at each tire during the bi-weekly washes I've not seen uneven wear. I know the roads around Atlanta pull double duty hosting daily qualifying sessions, but wow I didn't realize I was running the C6. Would have expected better grip ?

Something is off. I got 17,000 miles out of my rear Pirelli tires (285mm/20") with even wear. Front tires have another 5,000 miles left. Pirelli P7 Blue Elect. Probably 65/70% highway miles, mostly in the "lowered" ride height. Normal height around town. So average front and rear and I'm getting 20,000 miles. Depending on your total mileage I'd see if you could get an alignment check as a warranty claim.

What % of mileage do you drive in Normal vs. Sport vs. SportPlus? Which one do you use at highway speeds?

Appreciate US highway speeds are lower than Europe, but the car drops into low (not lowest) automatically at, I think, 60mph or so...

I got 9,000 miles from my Pirelli’s, even wear all round. Now have Hankook iON Evo and can see heavy wear on inside edges on rear after 4,000 miles, 6mm tread left elsewhere. :(
Very odd. Use Normal ride height almost all the time.

Total mileage is ~9800mi. 305s out back, 99% sure it's the P-Zero. Lot of low speed around the suburbs driving (my commute leaves the highway for city streets pretty quickly). Wish I could say the wear is from launch control at every light, but with this traffic it feels like half my miles are from sitting still ??
