9 weeks after Porsche managed to restore connectivity between my Taycan and their servers, a process which took 2 months and included 2.5 weeks in the obligatory Macan loaner while the car was actually in the shop, all connections have failed again.
In my case, just as before, the car still claims to have a 4G signal. I haven't tried disconnecting the battery yet this time, but since I tried that 4 different times during the previous outage to no avail, I'm not optimistic. In addition to the service connection errors, this problem also seems to cause intermittent Android Auto audio dropouts, and intermittent SOS connection failures - the LED next to the SOS button goes red.
What they told me fixed the problem last time was recoding every module in the car. I'm hoping they do something different this time, since that fix didn't work for long. I'm now waiting for word from PCNA after contacting them last week.
