Are etron owners receiving the same letter + recall?

I did not receive the letter or any other notice myself for my MY23 Taycan
I’m not aware of any letters for not parking in buildings in the Netherlands.

If EV’s get banned from indoor parkings and ferries and those kind of things I’m wondering what they are going to do with all those plug in hybrids. 100% remote working for me then ?

A number of Porsche Taycan owners have received a letter from the German brand urging them to avoid charging their car in a certain place to prevent fires.

However, some owners have recently noted that they have received a letter from the company warning them of a recall to fix a problem with high-voltage battery modules.

Posting the letter to the Taycan Forum, the company advised owners to avoid charging their car whilst it is parked adjacent to a building or inside their garage until the problem is fixed.

I would love to see the letter that was sent out but have no interest in signing up for another online media subscription out of the UK just to see one article.
I guess owners in the US will receive similar letters in the near future…

Parking the car outside will expose it to rodents which enjoy the environmentally safe insulation....

That's up there with the Mission E drone that was defo going to ship with the car.

I gotta say after watching it - what a lack of imagination on whoever came up with this. "Use drone to take pictures of your own car while driving" - boooooring! If it was me, the drone would be the scout that would fly ahead, check out traffic, warn me of accidents, traffic lane speeds/congestions (let me pick the fastest lane to stay in), large potholes, animals or humans on the road, road closures, speed tax collectors, DC charger status/congestion, etc. Make all Porsche drones act like a swarm by sharing information, so even if the Taycan in front of you is charging, it can send information and birds eye view of the DC charger to other incoming Taycans. And why do you have to park to release or capture it, should it not have a "garage" on the roof from which it can be deployed while moving (or stuck in traffic, to see what happened ahead)?

If you're going to make video about vaporware product, might as well make it imaginative. Couldn't help but notice that Taycan charging on a wireless charger too, but it was not highlighted in the video.

My wife's Q4 ETron had a recall last year where service had to bring the car in, and perform an analysis to determine if any modules needed replacing. AFAIR There was no mention of fire risk as the motivation.
I would think that Audi eTrons would have the same issues as the Taycan battery modules, no? Aren't they basically the same packs? same design, cells, etc.?

Same recall shitshow for Audi.

I even saw one complaining on the e-tron forum that Audi is bad at communicating and Porsche is way better. ? Little does he know..

I currently have both Audi and Porsche EVs. Porsche does the recalls quicker and offers things Audi does not, like $600 for an interim EVSE (both Porsche and Audi went through the same recalls, but Porsche gave me $600 for the hassle, Audi did not). Porsche UX is better thought out than Audis. Porsche UX has issues, but Audi just makes Porsche look better.
