PPF Or Ceramic For The TC

Is it worth getting your new TC protected and is it just the front end area to cover!!
Also can anyone recommend who’s good and what sort of price to expect!

Lots of threads on PPF. Bottom line if you care about your paint then get PPF. Any surface facing forward and behind the tires will get road debris damage.

Around London you have Topaz, Yiannimize, GVE and more. Some of us in the forum have gone to Auto Forensics, so message me if you want the details.

Expect to pay between £4,000 to £5,000 excluding VAT for full body; or, around £2,000 excluding VAT for just the front, depending on where you go. XPel is a popular PPF brand. However, check the installer’s work over the PPF brand.

Expel is cut before being applied to the car. It’s templated at the factory. You need a good company though to fit. When done properly you do not see any edges.

Actually, from what I've seen at various installers is they they have a large plotter printer hooked up to a computer to which they download templates for specific body panels for the specific car to which the PPF is applied. The installer can also tweak the template to include enough material to wrap over the edge of a hood or door to make the PPF application seamless.

Just curious - what’s wrong with PPS? I’ve only seen good things about it on here, I wasn’t aware of any complaints.
