Recently my car started hallucinating too. I keep getting the "You have a new notification" popup on the PCM, but when I clock to show, it takes me to the notifications screen with no notifications.

ah, this I know. happens to me too. you have to do it a few times and it will finally work and show you a bunch of upgrades. try when the car is stationary rather than driving. you could argue that devops at Porsche is a pos (making it dev-pos). I say that, for how clueless they are, the app still manages to show some correct info here and there ?

I went into the Updates menu, as I did in the past see update notifications which disappeared by the time I parked the car and went into notifications to check. Lately though I would press the button to display notifications while driving (since the notification shows up while driving - they won't let me read text messages while driving but Porsche marketing messages, why not, right?) - still no notifications to show 1-2 seconds after the popup or later. It really makes me think Porsche software is done by people with some emulator at their desk, and no software exec with any meaningful power drives a Taycan. At least at Tesla Elon drove their cars and came down hard on any bugs and plain stupid behaviors (like empty notifications - though Tesla only shows those when parked).
