I think you perhaps didn't follow my point. What do you think is the difference between rear wheel steer and rear axle steering? I’m sure the terms are used interchangeably?
Surely the point is that the rear wheels (axle) turn to either mirror the front wheels (to aid stability) or the opposite way (to increase agility).
On the GT3 there was RWS but not PSP - as far as I am aware they are entirely separate things for entirely separate purposes.
Indeed, I think you can have PSP without RWS on the Taycan, confirming the two systems are unrelated and independent.
RAS is bundled with PSP (to complete the package) and if you can't afford or don't feel the need for RAS then PSP is available separately either as a factory option or FOD.
I have both on my car and know what they do.
PSP has been available across much of the Porsche range for years and some either come with RAS or offer as an option.
I think the 991 911 GT3 of some years back offered this originally (and likely the 918 Spyder before it) and then made an appearance across the range.
Speed sensitive steering is a performance handling feature on the one hand as is RAS hence my original point and a convenience on the other (low speed manoeuvres).
