I opened the instrument panel and unfortunately I don't know if there will be someone who can fix this, at first glance this seems like a misery to me, I don't think I have to look for the problem but I think it's found, now what to do??? Buy a used instrument panel and do the coding with piwi for my car or try to get someone to fix this...???

I don't think I have to look for the problem but I think it's found,
I think the majority of people on here will have zero understanding of the problem or the photographs and its cause.
What was the problem and what do you think you have found?

A brief summary, the problem is that I don't have LIN in the windshield wipers, for example in the rain sensor, I have communication errors and I had warning lights on the instrument panel, and the diagnosis gives me electrical error LIn 1 and Lin 4. All these problems go through both the instrument panel and the BCM 1. Initially I thought it was a high or low CAN BUS problem, but after analyzing the electrical graphs and the diagnosis I came to the conclusion that the problem is a lack of LiN. I'm attaching the last diagnosis as well!!! I decided to remove the instrument panel to see its condition and what I found was what you see in the photos, because for example the diagnosis also gives an error in the light switch, etc... all communication problems! Now I sent the instrument panel to an electronics store to rectify if anything is not working as it should and to clean the board as well as the corrosion. If it can be fixed, ok. Next step: assemble the instrument panel and do a new diagnosis and see if you can get a connection between the modules. If you can't fix this panel of instruments, I will have to buy a used one and find someone who can code it for this car (online or here)

I would buy a used one… but I’m not qualified to comment. Good luck brother.

The only problem with buying a used second hand dashboard is finding someone who will do the coding for the car, because the dealership won't do it unless the dashboard is purchased from the dealership which will be at a completely under priced price with the extra cost of doing the programming too! It will have to be someone who has access to piwi online, as I have piwi offline it should do some automatic coding but it almost certainly won't code a dashboard that wasn't from the car….

There are non-dealer porsche approved service shops. The PCM / instrument panel is the same across all new versions of any porsche, so they would be able to code it. Try to find one of those, give them a call, and see if they're willing to install and code a 2nd hand instrument panel you bring.

Yes, it would be an option to get a service approved Porche Shop. If they can't fix this instrument panel for me, since I've already left it in a house that deals with control units and material of this type, I will definitely have to buy a second-hand panel. At this point, I've already started trying to find someone who can do the job for me. July is that it's even possible to code the instrument panel in the car online.

After receiving some indication of the condition of my original instrument panel, if the indication is that the instrument panel is actually damaged and is intervening with the lack of communication between the LIN, I will really have to replace the instrument panel with a used one from another car and fix it and I would contact a store authorized by Porsche to ask if it would be possible for them to code the instrument panel for me! For now I will have to wait for the result of my OEM! Because I think that the LiN problem in the car is caused exactly by the instrument panel being the way you can see in the photos!

That looks like it has been immersed in water..................................
Yes, it also seems to me quite humble on that panel, already cheekily under the dashboard, there are modules that are around and underneath (in the case of the BSM1) and nothing appears in the state that this instrument panel is in, I have even checked the button to turn the car on and off, the place where the fuses are on the dashboard on the driver's side, also under the steering wheel, etc. and nothing appears in that state, I don't know for sure what happened to this instrument panel, especially because I bought the car used... which has corrosion... and apparently it is working at 100% if it weren't for Lin's problem and the windshield wipers, the rain sensor, etc. etc. not working due to poor manufacturing, I would perhaps never have known that the instrument panel was in this condition!

I've even thought about it while I wait for the instrument panel to be fixed or not or changing the instrument panel for another one and after coding and after putting the instrument panel in place and erasing errors with piwi and seeing if in reality the connection problem is resolved, I've already thought about completely disassembling the dashboard and taking it out of the car and checking the entire front of the car!!!

This doesn't look like water damage to me. This looks like typical damage of overheating. Maybe a cable/ribbon came undone and some short happened, or a resistor broke and the mobo overloaded, or maybe a temperature sensor died and the board didn't know to throttle itself, who knows.

…. Well, who knows... the issue is that it was still working... and if I didn't open it, I didn't know about this either. Funny thing is that the car now doesn't have the instrument panel because I'm waiting for the electrical shop where the panel is for repair to tell me something and for example the parking lights under the mirrors didn't work before with the panel in place, yesterday I had to go to the car and when I clicked the key to open it I noticed that the parking lights under the mirrors were already working, that's why this panel was giving the car errors...
