I Just started charging at EA and the Porsche app reports 195 at 94% but the center console shows 158 at 94%.
This is the first time charging where the miles don't match.
I'm not sure which one to trust the normal numbers in the app or the lower numbers (30+ mile difference) on the car itself?
Anyone experienced this?

there are multiple postings from 4 past years that the in car "range" is easily wrong and easily mislead - you can ignore that number most of the time.

It seems that you should be getting more miles out of a 95% charge.

I too had some similar discrepancies with the mileage on my Tycan GTS
Your mileage seems to be awfully low. I feel you should be getting around 240 miles when it's fully charged.

I did take the car to the dealership and they downloaded the latest software. Even then the mileage was fluctuating too much. I ended up doing a factory reset and that took care of it and it shows the mileage to be around 240 miles.
Unfortunately when you factory reset you will know some of your personal settings including home link connections etc. you may have to reprogram the garage door etc.
having done the factory reset everything seems to be quite stable.
I hope this will be of help.

I thought it was a little low too but I did do the calibration sequence running the battery down to 5 miles then fully charging to 100% and I still only got 197 max. This was our first long road trip where we drove 280 miles and charged it 2 times to get to the destination and fully charged it once we arrived. We are getting around 205 at full charge now and the app & the vehicle are very close to the same.
Is the battery calibration process what you mean or a software reset?
6 months ago when we bought it we had 225 at full charge but now only 205. I was thinking this was just the fact we drive it mostly around town in stop & go driving rather than long highway stretches. Could that be the reason for the loss in range?

I suppose if you are always using Sport Plus, and hence consuming loads of power, you could get he guessometer this low. However, otherwise it's worth checking the SOC at the dealer.

EVs are actually more economical around town rather than high speee long stretches because there is no idling and the efficiency is not impacted as low gear slow town driving. The wind at high speed is the worst enemy for the ev consumption.
I would not read too much on 200 vs 220 miles difference: too many factors going into consideration, like ambient temperature, driving style, uphill or downhill predominance in the preceding trip, etc…

Wait, whut? Is this a thing? Never did a calibration, actually never went lower than 30%. Is this recommended to do?

There was a software update/recall which was performed by the local dealership in San Jose.

After that my mileage levels were still fluctuating. It also had the LTE problem.
I ended up factory setting. And that took care of it

In order to factory reset one needs to use the PCM, Settings and System. There you should execute Factory RESET
It will let you know that the system will wipe out all the information. If you say OK, then you'll find that it'll do the factory reset.
