I just had the latest patch applied to my Turbo, and after I got the car back there is a problem with the passenger seatbelt. The seatbelt warning goes off when someone is in the seat, even though they do have their seatbelt fastened. The dinging goes on for a couple of minutes until it gives up. Annoying.

So it seems like the problem was caused by the update, but that would be weird. Has anyone heard of this happening? Are there any fixes I can do myself? I'd rather not take the car back to the dealer again, after they just had it for over a week.

Do you receive the warning on the dash display or just the audio warning?

I just had ANA6 applied and when I went to pick up the car, the PCM was stuck on the PORSCHE logo, as others have reported. I figured it would probably fix itself if I locked the car and came back 15 min later, but I figured since I was still at the dealership, I'd tell them about it. They brought out a tech who ended up resetting some stuff with his tech laptop to try and fix it. It didn't work, but in the end the problem did indeed go away after letting the car sleep for 5 min or so.

My point is simply that if you go back to the dealer and tell them this problem has been occurring since they updated it, maybe they will take ownership of the regression and fix/diagnose it for you right there while you wait (hopefully not long). You can tell them you'd rather not leave the car at the shop again having just done so, hopefully they will be sympathetic and take a look right away.

Probably depends on the dealer though...mine does seem like they provide good service and aim to please.

Are you sure the uPdate was the only service performed? Have you checked if they also performed the ANA5 seat wiring recall? They may have performed ANA5 incorrectly.

Reworking wire harness for front seats
Campaign number ANA5
Date of recall report: 5/2/22
Summary
In the affected vehicles, there is a possibility that the driver and passenger seat wiring harness could become damaged during longitudinal seat adjustment.
Effects
If this damage occurs, there is potential for components of the supplemental restraint system to malfunction and deactivate. Customers may experience seat adjustment malfunction, or abnormal noise during adjustment.
Corrective measures
The seat wire harness will be inspected for damage. Textile fabric tape will be added to further secure the harness under the seat and help prevent potential for harness damage during seat adjustment.

Thanks! I suspect you are right.

I had that happen to me just once post recall. Passenger seatbelt warning and kept going even though the wife redid hers. Weird thing was, it stopped after I rebuckled my (driver) seatbelt. Never happened again.
