You can certainly start with this forum as I have seen owners mentioning about their Taycans for sale. If that does not work out, you can always try AutoTrader.

Bring A Trailer and Cars And Bids both charge a very high premium (like 4.5% or something with maybe an $8k cap; check for yourself) which affects your selling price. Cars and Bids also tries to insist on "no reserve" and will not let seller set starting bid; bids start at $0).

I agree with all of the above.I posted and sold cars locally on NextDoor. I was not selling a Porsche but a lot of people who are involved in the community do a good job spreading a word if they see something interesting for sale.

What other have said but also did you get a couple of quotes from Porsche dealers yet? You can also try the KBB instant cash offer, you upload a few pics and enter info, they shop it around dealers. Most will probably come in low, some will come in low buy tell you they might raise the offer after seeing the car, but since it costs nothing but a bit it time, might be worth a try. I ended up finding a buyer this way one time.

I didn't realize the BAT buyer fees were so high. It seems like BAT is better for specialty cars.

based on a bit of looking around there seems to be very little equity for me left in the car. the buyout today would be 71k plus sales taxes and there is not much of a chance of getting more than 75k from a private sale. I'll see what the dealership offers on a trade or I'll just turn the car in

You're lucky if you don't want to keep the car. Residual values from 3 years ago were inflated by crazy pandemic car market. You are unlikely to beat it today. Check out the BAT graph of Taycan auction prices:

Days where you could buy a car, drive it for a couple of thousand miles, then sell it for significantly more than you paid for it, like the car below are gone. MSRP $112, after few months and 2,300 miles it sold for $30K over MSRP after BAT fee.

with the 2025 being so radically improved I don't see any sort of compelling reason to buy the car now
