Soft close doors are now an option for 2025. And only $720 usd. Any chance this could be retrofit for previous model years? I'm sure it would cost more as a retrofit but could it be possible? It's the one thing I truly miss from my Panamera...

Doubt it and if it could it would be very pricey. It would need additional sensors and wiring

I feel the same, missed it from my Panamera. It's a small thing, but noticeable when gone. first world problems.

I'm hoping that Suncoast will come up with a kit, like they did for a Turbo front bumper lip conversion.

I might even send them an email to encourage it, if indeed it is even possible.

I thought soft close was always available from an Audi and could be retrofitted . It’s somewhere on the forum.

It is one of the MAJOR things I miss about my Panameras. So often I have to get out of the car to close a door. You don’t realize how much you enjoy something until you don’t have it!

since its a .2 option and is unlikely to be tied into the software, i bet its not a big deal to retrofit

There has always been a retrofit path for the Gen 1 but doubt if anyone actually tried it. Non Porsche parts and non dealer fit meant possible warranty issues.

Cost prohibitive.

Glad its an option now presumably because many of us have moaned about its absence on this forum over the years. An obvious miss by Porsche first time around.
