Solved: remote preheat not working

I posted last week about my preheat not working from the my Porsche app. I kept getting an error stating “Function not available. Try again later or contact Porsche connect”. Preheat was still working from inside the car/pcm. I gave it 5 days to self resolve and nothing. Called Porsche connect this morning and a very nice gentlemen had me delete my account from the pcm and then sign back in. Problem solved.

I get it’s an old thread, but that solution didn’t work for me!

I would add that you can try to log out of the app, delete the app, reinstall it, and then log back in. I have had app to car sync issues before and this is what Porsche call center advised and that did resolve the sync issue.

Yes. Got word from the PC yesterday. Two electronic modules need replacing.
