Yup, I looked at "tool balancers" as well, but then you have this big loop of cable running HALFWAY to the floor. I still think you would be better off affixing an extension cable along your wall and then mounting your charger (so its also removable) right near the car with the charging cable coiled up on a hose hangar or something. You could still just unplug the whole charger (and its cable) and take it with you.

Curious we came at a similar issue from two different directions. But, its your garage and not mine. Good luck!
Yes but I can't mount the charger near the car. Nowhere to put it. With the tool balancer, the cable would be hanging along the wall to the side of the car, so it would be nicely out of the way.

You have a wall, right? Is it YOUR wall? What is it made of (Drywall? Concrete? Wood? Cinder Block?). Why can't you put in a couple of wall anchors with hooks on them to hang the charger?

Because I have other stuff on the wall (shelves, etc) that I can’t/don’t want to move.
