I cannot find a reference in the manual to the red power cord icon near the top right edge of the cockpit screen. I was trying a new L2 EVSE and noticed the red icon in the cockpit screen. The ANA6 uPdate was applied recently and I don't recall if this icon was white or red previously. The same icon displays when I use the PMC+ EVSE.

My questions are, "Does this icon simply indicate the presence of a connected J1772 plug? Or does the red color indicate that something is wrong?"

I've never seen something like that... but I think that if it's red, it's not good.

I have the same sign when connected to L2 charger. Whether this was red colour before the update or not I can not say. Unfortunate choice of colours though as normally Red means trouble?

I have taken this to mean “”be careful, you are still plugged in””

I'm pretty sure that indicator has always been there, and it's always been red (even though it's not an error or fault condition). I have a MY2020 and have seen it many times before.

I agree. A green icon like on the iPhone app would make more sense.

The icon is probably red by design simply because it means the car has been placed in a state where it can't be driven until you unplug and make the red icon go away.
