Spinning Circle on Center Console Main Screen

After a few days at the dealer, I got a text from my SA to let me know that they have ordered a new "main computer" for the PCM. They had already replaced the Blue Tooth connection device a couple of months ago to fix a problem connecting to my iPhone. The new PCM computer won't arrive for at least another week. I have an appointment to take the car in for the swap on December 12. I will post again to update after I have driven it for a week or so.

Mine has just done this today.
Spinning circle in middle tube and main PCM went blank.

Internet radio was on and carried on working - but the station wasn't showing on the 3rd tube where I normally have it showing (along with SoC/Battery etc.)

Reversing camera did work.

Parked up now - see what happens on restart.

Update: went out after 50 mins and all working normally again.

My "main computer" was replaced a week ago. I've been driving the car for a week now and have had no more issues with PCM startup. It seems to start up more quickly than it did before, when it started successfully and seems to have quicker responsiveness overall. Before this replacement, it was failing to start up successfully about 10-20% of the time.
If you continue to have problems with this, tell your SA that somebody with a 22 CT 4 had this done at Porsche Of Littleton in Colorado.

Had the same issue 3-4 times in the last 3 months since I got the uPdate. Just a 2-Finger-Reset fixed it.

Sorry what is the 2-Finger -Reset, recently PCM lost my navigation destination history and was looking if there is a way to restore.

Resetting won’t fix that. Destination history is nothing, the best is when it loses your radio favorites.

Use two fingers and press on the upper right side corner of the screen until the screen blanks....then wait until unit reboots and select the bottom option to just restart....

2 week old Taycan. Had a subscription update today. Comfort access. Got in the car, as others here have said, spinning circle but music still playing. Map on drivers instruments fine but no main screen. Did the 2 finger gesture p) and screen rebooted into engineering mode. I then exited that and all seems ok. Will see if happens again in the morning.

Got this spinning wheel at startup since last Sept. OTA update and even more since recent OTA map updates.
2 fingers reset does not help just allow to start PCM...but seems does not "reset" loading sequence.
While back at the time I received the car Compas were off, Apple PCM app not working, spinning wheel etc...
I did remove the 2 fuse supporting PCM and PCM control. Enjoyed a beer or 2 for at least half hour - Bingo much quicker PCM loading and no more spinning wheel (until next update).

It seems PCM need to be "unplug" after and update to make it right. (did it already 3 times in 2 years always after an OTA update of some sort) clearing some sort of cache?

I use PCM functions as I need to have 2 phone connected mostly flawlessly (98%).

Thank you. You mean the right side dashboard fuse box. Any tips about how to best remove/replace the side panel of the dashboard that covers that fuse box? Pry points, etc?

From bottom to top using plastic trim lever - fairly easy

You are on to something about the effect of PCM updates disabling other PCM services.
Yesterday when I started car I got notification that "Your Sirius/XM subscription has been updated".
I do not subscribe to Sirius.
After that the car had no access to online radio stations. The "globe" symbol for online radio was greyed out.
A couple of hours later after several stops for shopping, online radio service came back
I didn't have the need to pull the PCM fuses, which I had intended to do.
