Hi all. My 2020 Taycan 4s has been making a strange loud squeaking noise from the front drivers side suspension for the past 4 weeks. Only happens in hot weather but the noise is also audible from inside the car. Any ideas? Local garage checked lubricated all the joints but didn’t make a difference. Drive hasn’t been affected.

This is very likely the front lower control arm...

Don’t know if you can hear the noise in this video.

I would take the videos and car to a dealer... as I said in a different thread, I had this problem too, and it was definitely a lower control arm/ball joint, and the tech indicated that this is a common issue with Taycans and Panameras...

Thanks again. Was it a simple fix? Or did they charge an arm and a leg?

It required replacing the lower control arm and ball joint assembly. About $1700, covered under warranty.

Had a rear squeak on my j1.1.
A top mount had broken. And 6 months later it went again.

hi I have had the same issues. Mine is a 2021 Taycan 4S with only 40,000 miles. They’ve quoted me £3,400 saying it’s wear and tear and not covered under my CPO warranty. Did you have to put up much of a fight?
