Stop Sale on all Taycans?

Just posting a quick update here; my new Taycan GTS’s VIN is now showing the brake line recall on Porsche’s recall lookup webpage. Still no definitive word from my dealer on when replacement parts will arrive and the car will be able to be sold and released to me, but was told possibly “mid July”. Out of curiosity I also spoke with two other large volume dealers in the US and they all confirmed they are still under the stop sale order as well. Anyone have any updates or hearing any other details?

Went in today to get my 2022 appraised as my 2025 4S CT is coming in two and a half weeks. They confirmed stop sale due to the brake line. But parts are on the way. He expects to have them with 7-10 days. So they’ll need to fix mine and the new one before we can complete the deal.

Spoke with my dealer today; they tried to get a firm commitment from Porsche NA on timing for parts but were told that the parts are shipping out now and are “auto-allocated” by Porsche based on some sort of black-box criteria. So it’s just a guessing game from the customer’s end as to when a given dealer will receive an allocation of repair parts. I note that on a few other forum threads, there are a few folks whose dealers (one in Los Angeles, one in Wales) received parts and have been replacing brake lines since this weekend.

In Sweden, parts on my new ST MY24 were delivered 13/7. Changed on the car the 15/7 and I took delivery 16/7.
Were supposed to take delivery 1/7. I didn’t have to wait too long fortunately.

Yessir, I took delivery of my MY24 GTS about two weeks ago. It felt like it took forever for the dealer to get their allocation, then once they started receiving parts (first for RWD, then 4S, then GTS) it moved very quickly. Hope you get your car soon!
