I quite fancy some of these but almost never park at night anywhere flat enough to benefit, I have a flint gravel drive :(
I'll take photos of them on a gravel drive when I get chance.

Though it's a prime opportunity to find smooth paths and show off at night :)

(I though the leather looked a bit "blackberry" under the interior light in the pic).

Looks cool. My wife's Audi has OEM projector puddle lights (came with the car) -IIRC they project "eTron". Personally I typically go for function over form, would probably look for a puddle light which lights up the ground better when the door it open.
To be fair the standard ones do a good job at that IMO...and the front ones of these do seem to clip the light a little lengthways...but I'm not standing in puddles at the extremities anyway ?

(I'm with you on function over form...mostly. It wouldn't matter how good a car was if it was absolutely fugly, I'd be unlikely to buy it).

For max ground lighting I got these dual side bulbs (red/white leds) that fit into the halogen housing of the Macan. I am not sure if they would fit into the Taycan as I went for the AddCarLights for the front doors and kept original non logo lights for the rear.

FYI it was my experience with our CT4 which did not have lights there under the doors, that we had to code the puddle lights with PIWIS. The plug and harness were in the doors but no voltage on them until coded.

Were the holes there for the lights, just covered up with blanking plates?

Or did you have to cut holes in the door cards?

I purchased the lights as Porsche said I did not have them as standard, what they failed to tell me was I only have reflectors, so after purchase and fitting they didn't work!!
Apparently from what I have read they are only wired up if you have ambient lighting.

So need to find an auto electrician and use some power from within the door car I guess...

Can you explain more to me please, as that is the issue I have???
Thanks

so we only had the little reflective blank plates under there. Car did NOT come with any sort of puddle lights from the factory. However, the wire harness is still in the door. The harness goes all the way to the power distribution center so it is wired up to the car, but the logic to provide power on the harness is just not activated in the car's computer. So, you dont want to get an electrician involved to re-wire the harness. You need to plug a PIWIS into the car and tell the car (code the car) to provide power on that existing harness when the door is opened. Do a search for PIWIS III. That is the name of the software / computer you need to accomplish this. The dealers and many of the independent service shops have this equipment.

I’ve ordered 4. I wanted them at build but dropped them so this is great.

Thanks for the post and heads up OP
Crikey. Ordered Xmas eve. Spoke via email (was contacted by company to double check fittings and sent some pics) on Xmas day. Arrived and fitted today

Such quick service especially considering time of year!

Nice!

Which option did you go for? (Rear doors cut off the full emblem apparently).

Same as yours - full on front, porsche on back. I like the simplicity of the wording but the logo ones did look good in your pic. I wanted these at build but couldn't justify the cost. Crazy to think how much is charged when they're literally just a small mod!

Thanks again

No worries.

Agree on the craziness of the charge! Have you seen how much they charge for fob covers?!

Mad isn't it - can't get my head around them!

I've been used to option costs in the past, but as a first time porsche owner, well, different level isn't it (I say this as my options list hit £17.5k lol).
