Taycan 4S hood misaligned

Hi, i am new in this forum and I am writing from Italy.

I received few days ago my 4S that I love.

in the picture enclosed it seems that my hood is slightly off…

I already tried adjusting the rubber stoppers but nothing changes.
is this a common problem? Can it be sorted out easily or is there the risk of messing things up?

Hi @pmas73 it looks more like the bumper being off rather than the bonnet. The bonnet is lined up perfectly with the wing (at least it looks like it on the picture). I would be tempted to speak to the dealer to ask for it to be checked and realigned.

there is no easy fix, you'll need to bring it in, they will try to tell you that it is normal, just hold your ground and insist that the align it properly

Yes, my guess is that is the bumper since the hood alignes perfectly with the fenders.

I sent the picture to the dealer and they’re going to check.
Do you think it will be better to keep it like is in order to avoid worse problems or aligning the bumper is an easy task?

Keep turning the rubber bumper until you see a difference. I found on my car, the hood mainly rests on the frunk seal and not the bumpers themselves so you have to screw them out a couple turns before it starts to make a difference. The best the dealer could do is the same thing.

The bumper is actually mounted on the same bracket that the hood bumpers bottom out on (red arrow), with the plastic cowl sandwiched between, so those hood bumpers are the only way to adjust the hood relative to the bumper.

Thank you for your explanations. If I unscrew the rubber bumpers nothing changes, I mean, on the side where the bonnet is higher the rubber bumper is already all in, and on the opposite site if I unscrew nothing changes. After 3 complete turns the rubber bumper falls off.
I also noticed that’s the bonnet sits mainly on the frunk seal, so my guessing is that maybe with time it will get better?

does anyone please send piscrites of their rubber stoppers to see how unscrewed they are?

Looking at the picture you attached, I was wandering if, putting a shim or washer underneath the bumper bolt of the bumper on the side where mine sits lower would help rising it that little bit that is needed to go even with the other side...

In this way it aligns pretty well, but I feel strange that the stoppers have to be completely out on one side and completely in on the other...
Does some one please send me a picture of their stoppers in order to seee the differences of in/out?

My hood is also slightly misaligned like yours. The weather sucks and the car is wet and filthy at the moment, but once it gets nicer I’ll try to see if I can fix it.

My hood is very well aligned, here are the pics with the rubber stoppers (all the way up I guess).
For me your hood alignment might not the issue but the bumper...

Wow, your is perfect and the stoppers are all in, so is the perfect condition.
I placed side by side my Taycan and 007,s one and they are the same...
I also saw many pictures of Taycan on internet with the same issue.

I guess it is within spec, and I don't know if making the dealer try to resolve will make it worse.....

In my case, it’s just from a particular angle that it looks slightly off. Like here it looks ok:
