WOW that sounds very scary, lol sorry clearly not an Real Porsche driver here lol... will it damage the car by braking like this?? high speed meaning 50Km 80KM??? Do i slam on the brake all the way and hold until the car stops?? Thank youMy brakes make a godawful noise when driven in heavy rain. Probably due to a 'buildup' of crap (technical term) on the brake discs. Running through the procedure below solves the noise problem for me. If this procedure doesn't do anything, then you have another problem.
I would expand on the 'brake a few hard times'. This involves running the car to a high speed and engaging antilock fully until you've ALMOST stopped. (Obviously find a safe place to do this). Do not stop and keep your pads engaged - this can damage hot brakes. Repeat this cycle three or more times - if you can smell the brakes, then you've done it correctly.![]()
