I mostly agree, with just a slightly steeper slope for my down-rating of the wagons.Saloon with Sport Front Fascia - 10.0
Saloon with Standard front fascia - 9.5

Any CT - 8.5
Every time I see a 911, I think looks great, but then when I look again in the rear view mirror: Not so much.Folks who drive 911's can get away with saying the Taycan is a little ugly relative to the 911, but that is about it. I've stated it before on this forum, but it is worth repeating: Whenever a Tesla is stopped near me, I see jealous stares and can literally feel the EV envy emanating from the Tesla drivers. Tesla mothers know their babies are ugly and the Taycan is a painful reminder of that harsh reality.![]()
My opinion varies slightly. I think Porsche have produced quite a lot of bad looking cars.IMHO, the only ugly car that Porsche ever made (and continues to) is the Panamera. And maybe the 996.
Once you start worrying about opinions outside those you value - you start going down a slippery slope…..Click bait.
but seriously, has anyone come across someone saying the Taycan is an ugly car?
If so, share your stories here.
Surprised about the reaction on the front-end.I have a couple of friends who think its ugly. Mostly due to the front-end treatment as discussed ad nauseum. I do see their point, but I think it looks much worse in pictures than in real life. Also color can make or break it IMO. All that being said, I think its the best looking 4 door Porsche ever. In terms of all current sedans/SUVS/wagons I really can't think of much that looks better to my eyes.
I agree personally. It’ll start to become less unique as Porsche rolls out more EVs- from what I’ve seen the macan EV will have a similar headlight treatment for exampleSurprised about the reaction on the front-end.
I think the front/lights look amazing while still still feeling very porsche'esque.
Imaging a panamera front on a taycan...it would look like another 718, macan, cayenne out there.
Dog taking a dumpI think the Taycan is a beautiful organic design, but I think wheels are key. Sporty wheels like the Mission E really accentuate the futuristic look of the car, while the basic wheel options make it look plain IMO. Without a sharp five spoke wheel option, I wouldn’t have purchased a Taycan. I also think the hardtop dramatically improves the look of the car and wouldn’t have purchased a Taycan without it. The glass roof flowing into the rear window makes the car look odd to me, like a dog squatting to take a dump.
