C&D posted test results for the RWD/PB+ Taycan online, and the results are quite confusing: 0-60mph in 4.7s (w/ 1ft rollout), 1/4 mile in 12.9s @ 115mph, 0-100mph in 10.3s and 0-130mph in 16.4s. I don't think there is any other car on the road right now with sub 6s 60-100mph and 6s 100-130mph times, but only a high 4s 0-60. At speed, the performance difference to a Taycan 4s shrinks quite a bit - to 60mph, the RWD is 1.3s slower (40%), from 60-100mph difference is 0.9s (20%) and 100-130mph gives 0.3s/5% difference.
Conclusion for me is that the 2.5s vs 10s overboost vs regular HP numbers are a very simplified look at what is really going on, and that the 0-60mph is artificially limited (and that Porsche went a bit overboard with that). Anyone who's launched a RWD Taycan on a clean dry road can confirm that this is not traction limited.
All of that is not very important IRL, but to me quite curious.
