Not really, I like heating / Air con. That's about 50 miles gone there.
So this is with ac on and without the performance plus (big) battery or did you mean you have the big battery, performance plus? It’s confusing, I got it wrong as well. Small battery is the performance battery, big battery is performance plus. Seems porsche is really keen on having the performance naming on there.

Absolutely amazing range. Unheard of.

You have to do a thread teaching us how to maximize range while driving. This range deserves an award and is an anomaly.

Performance denotes lower voltage than the Performance Plus battery in addition to extended range.

say what?

apologies, i am confused. Just did a internet search and:

"It should be noted that Porsche offers two different battery options, the standard 79.2-kilowatt-hour battery (A.K.A. the Performance Battery), and the 93.4 kWh Performance Battery Plus (Turbo and Turbo S models are only available with the PB+). "

I think he means the standard performance battery is actually around 600v not 800v. Cell quality? Source? Who knows but I've read the same more than once. The standard pack has a lower voltage than the PB+

The PB has a max peak charging capacity of 225kW whereas the PB+ pushes 270kW.

Note that you are quoting gross battery capacities and not the net and so take 10% off these numbers to get the actual capacity you can charge (10% is kept on reserve for battery management).

I'm still surprised how an internet search and along the forum post saying the base taycan on regular batter can get around 250 miles of range.

I have never gotten that, even in nice weather. Let's see how it does this spring/summer, 2nd year of ownership.

Must be the Mission E's....

I have CT4, 21” wheels….and before uPdate, i was seeing between 400-420km without any problems.
After uPdate, it went down to 360-375 km @ 100%SoC.

Taycan RWD 2021 (with bp+)

Hey guys

I bought my taycan rwd in august with battery performance plus and in the beginning I got about 330-350km range at 100%, the seller told me these numbers should increase overtime but they havent. I have driven 6000km.

now in the winter I get 270km at 100%
and these numbers doesnt sit quite right with me, I know it will decrease at lower temperatures but the range calculator on porsches website says I should get way more.

Did you find out what is wrong? Mine is the RWD 2021 with 21" wheels and bp+, and I can get only 320km at 100%. I'm a bit concerned because I drive 120km/h, average consumption is 22kw/100km so I should have much more range...

The car now has 400km+ range after being reset in PCM, not sure why it got better after that.

Note that the range is an estimate. I would not worry about low estimates. My range fluctuates between 300km and 400km. My right foot caused the weird predictions. The estimate is based on your latest trips, the weather (temp, rain etc) active navigation, type of tires, ac, weight of passengers + trunk content and probably a few things we don’t know. The consumption per 100km is the only thing that matters. 19-25kwh/100km is “nice”. When you keep your average consumption between the 19-25 range, the guess-o-meter will adjust and predict a more realistic range.

Maybe also worth to calibrate your battery and its management system. Lots of threads around here about how to do it.

Olá

This in "normal mode"? AC in ECO? If yes, you must be Ayrton Senna's lost son ?

I'm joking. I have a heavy foot but currently it shows around 421 km range in normal mode (AC OFF) at 95%. I usually drive in individual (sport) mode so 380-390 km (with AC ON in ECO) is what I usually see
