It was a long day mate, each time I try to walk away, they would give me something, but didn't lower the price. I managed to have 4 tires to be changed, free ceramic and interior insurance, and they will give me a reply on Friday if they can have the 10 scratch repair insurance for 3 years included (I don'tthink they will though).I love the car, very good condition, well kept as far as my limited knowledge with cars are. I'm not sure if I'll be able to include a video of the car from below, I'll try to compress it's size and share if you don't mind taking a look. The performance of the turbo is breath taking, I'd like to have ACC for OCD issues, but I don't think it will be useful in my driving style anyways. Paid £2000 deposite with intention to buy, but added the condition that I revise with a mechanic and financial advisor (just as an excuse) and I'd cancel the purchase if I was advised otherwise. I just wished for less miles, but I'm happy with everything else.
Two thing worth mentioning, pedestrians sensor warning was faulty and they said it might need changing or cable secured properly. Second, the service book and the online logged in service didn't match, so they needed to be updated (not sure if that should raise suspicion? ).
I have attached some pictures of the battery and protective area infront of it, together with some parts were replaced asymmetric from right to left which I believe is negotiable and a plastic hose at the back that need to be clicked in one side or replaced?

I'll take a proper look tomorrow but cannot see anything wrong with the battery cover from the photos but you will have a better idea from in person inspection.

Have the front fans/ wheel arch liners been replaced? Is it subject to any current recalls.... battery etc?

Which OPC is it?
Did you make them an offer or just ask if they could reduce the price?

Yes, they mentioned one of the front fan covers has been replaced (nice catch). One of which has extra bit or rubber. The car is up for a battery recall, that they recommend for me to collect the car after it has been updated together with amending the mentioned bits.

York OPC, I'm not good at price reduction bargains, so I kept asking for services or insurances to be included under the same price. As much as I'm happy with the car, I'm happy to walk away if I don't feel appreciated.

I found it on AutoTrader. Looks a great car. It's a shame they didn't do both fans but you have 2 years warranty.
I would go quite on them and review the decision after the battery recall is completed and you understand what if any restrictions are imposed on the car eg don't charge over 80% or in a garage etc.

It is best to just tell them what you are prepared to pay then they have a decision to make. You can always go up.

Pleasure to hear it took your certification??You are much better than me with this, I have to give you that. Will do and wait on recall outcome. I'll keep ypu updated.

Unfortunately, I have already agreed on the price, but still with some insurances to be added. If they come to me with any further faults or bad news, I'll keep you posted and by then either walk away or bargin a lower price!
