TeslaTap Mini Adapter feedback?

Tesla Tap now has Mini versions that feature their proprietary circuit board, but with the rest made in China...

I imagine this is an attempt to recapture some of the market they lose to knock-offs. Anyone tried the Chinese version, and have feedback, good or bad?

I'm a fan of Amazon but there have been enough counterfeit electronics to cause careful consideration. If you specifically want the Tesla Tap, I suggest either buying directly throught their website or making sure the Amazon seller is actually Tesla Tap.

I've seen some very good reviews of the knock offs. The question comes up of whether you pay to support the person/company that researched and first created the product or spend less and support a company that just reworked the original. Only you can make that decision for yourself.
