The test would be helpful…Interesting. Perhaps I will test it out
Great tip re turning the keys off. Assume it’s the same two second press together deal for reactivating them?Don’t worry about relay theft. It is easy to disable in the car if you want and the key is very easily turned off by pressing the open and lock buttons together for 2 seconds. Perhaps get some CCTV cameras fitted. They are easy to fit yourself if you are practically minded
No. Just press an unlock key and it unlocks the car/re-activates the keyGreat tip re turning the keys off. Assume it’s the same two second press together deal for reactivating them?
I have a flight to California tomorrow so I’ll report back if it’s offered there.Unlike most people on this forum, I’m in the fortunate situation to have something called “insurance” where I will actually get money if the car is stolen, damaged, wrecked, etc. Not sure if that’s offered in Western Europe. Please someone confirm. Over.
Thanks! No. Just press an unlock key and it unlocks the car/re-activates the key
I've got cctv. Trouble is no one seems to care. The crims just wear masks and the police don't seem to find them clear enough to be useful. At least you get to watch what happened i guess, but not convinced they actually lead to catching the culprits or stopping things happening.Don’t worry about relay theft. The above article has an interesting piece…This was from yesterday.
No detail, but I still wouldn't get keyless in the UK.

Quite a few faraday pouches fail after a while. Unfortunately you get a false sense of security. Some people at first may check but after that never check they are actually doing the job you originally bought them for. I wouldn't be surprised if a majority of people out there have even ever checked that their pouches are working. This was from yesterday.
