I received a message via My Porsche app telling me to schedule a service appointment as my heater is failing. What I find interesting is that it was a message via the app, not the PCM or any in car warning.

I don't read any of the My Porsche messages as a rule and just found it, weeks after it was sent. Way to go Porsche, just a stupid way to communicate. I get tens of worthless notifications every few weeks through the PCM, but communicating this via an app message is just ridiculous.

I would expect something this serious should be a letter in the mail. I pay attention to that kind of mail as it is always some kind of trouble.

This is also sent via mail, since I've received both. However, when I checked with the dealer, they said that there's no pending heater replacement for my car.

Just picked up my ‘22 for software update and new heater. Took a day and good to go. Warranty work.
