I'm finalizing the details for my order of a new 2025 GTS, and I'm deciding between two interior color choices: Black/Bordeaux Red and Black/Atacama Beige. I've currently specced Speed Blue contrast stitching for both configurations, because I like the way that it looks and that it helps blend the appearance of the interior with that of the exterior color, which is Neptune Blue.

I'm leaning toward Bordeaux Red as I feel it is a more "bold" choice. It's a bit more exciting, and that's what I'm going for. However, I worry that it might be a bit too much and that it may not stand the test of time. There is also the consideration of its potential impact on how easy it would be to resell the car, should I choose to do that down the line.

The Atacama Beige option, in my opinion, is the safer choice and is probably agreeable to a larger number of people; it also looks great and has a very relaxed feeling. The only concern would be that I might regret not being more bold and choosing the red.

I've seen both colors in person and like them both -- just not in this particular combo with the contrast stitching.

Thoughts?

Color choices are very personal, and general advice is to get what makes you happy and not the next buyer. However, this is how it looks to me.

Neptune/Red is a Superman color combo with blue stitching over red a very bold statement that goes well with a GTS theme.

Neptune/Atacama is a relaxing Nature combination of ocean/sand or sky/mountain, but the blue stitching does not go with that theme as you want to keep the ocean/sky outside. Instead, you can color the Sports Chrono or Seat Belts in Speed blue if there is not enough blue for you from the screens. GTS is not a relaxed theme but if you go with this it will be very stealth as you have the GTS heart in a relaxed outfit.

That is a fantastic way of characterizing these colors -- I personally had not thought of the first set of colors as being "Superman"-themed, but you are absolutely right! I won't be able to unsee it now. :)

Ocean/sand is also very apt. I think I would keep the blue stitching inside though, since I like the way that it looks.

Great comparisons. You should write poetry or something. :like:

I am glad I could help but cannot take all the credit. Porsche sources colors from nature at times and Atacama is a desert by the ocean.

Personally neither option as in my mind there's a clash in colours paticularlywith the choice of stitching colour.

Atacama as it comes would be where I'd go.

The first Taycan we saw up close was a Gentian Blue with the Bordeaux/Black interior. My wife and I really liked it; the BA said he had quite a few Taycans, both sedan and CT customers, who had gone that route, and were still happy with their choice

We have not ordered yet and while still getting Gentian Blue, our new first choice interior is Chalk/Black with Speed Blue stitching.

Which way are you leaning now?

Bordeaux on Neptune is bold, adding speed blue contrast stitching would go a bridge too far for me, but it is your car, not mine.
If you are a sucker for contrast stitching (as i am), i would go Atacama (or Crayon as i did).

Blue stitching with red or beige leather would not be my choice at all, but colours are very personal.

A massive plus point, for me, with the GTS is the racetex interior. The black isn't so pronounced on the racetex, so the interior doesn't look sombre.

If you had the racetex with the blue stitching (including the GTS logos) it would look great. And maybe go blue seatbelts.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts; interestingly, the pendulum has now swung the other way. Whereas before I was leaning Bordeaux, I am now leaning Atacama. The more I stared at the red, the less and less I liked it with the blue stitching, even though my first gut reaction when I first clicked it in the configurator was that it was incredible. ? It's funny how these things go.

I know I'm converging on the right decision when both my "heart" and my "head" (which had always said that the Beige was better) start to align. So right now I'm thinking either the red with no stitching or the Atacama with stitching.

And yes @ze_shark I am a sucker for the stitching, so I'm still leaning toward the latter of the two but going red without stitching would save me lots of $$$ for sure, which is a point in its favor!

Both are great choices. However with the beige you can add the bronze accents which really spruces up the interior, especially if you have burm stereo.
