Update: I turned off the “Air Conditioning” setting in my timer and this morning I watched the car finish charging at exactly the right time.
Oddly, mine seems to be working correctly now in terms of the time. I didnt change anything. Perhaps Porsche fixed it?

Strange. I’ll go back to my original configuration and see if the timer works properly. Maybe it was coincidental timing on my part.

I’m assuming it’s just a software bug when A/C is enabled in the timer.
Ok, Thanks. Just a thought if the problem returns. Delete the timer and create a new one. I have had timers on other devices in the past where a timer was created on EDT and didn't adapt to the change to EST. Probably not the issue, but its easy to test.

I appreciate the advice. I tried that on the old car. It didn’t work. This is a new car that I picked up in Dec exhibiting the same behavior. I’ll play around with it a bit more and see if it’s fixed for good now.

Last night I turned on the air conditioning option in the charging timer. The behavior reverted to completing one hour before scheduled time. See photos.

So what I’m thinking is that this is either a bug or the system is completing the charge early to make sure it can have the car preheated by the set time (while ensuring the desired state of charge). The message on the phone screen might be misleading and does not show the actual completed time but the desired time when all timer functions are due to complete.
