Hi everyone.

I am in the process of buying 21 inch after market alloys ( the 19's just look horrid) for my taycan 4s. spec is as follows:

Wheel Specifications:
VELOCITY VF6
Size: 21"
Width: 10.5J
Offset: Custom ET15 to ET45
Bolt pattern: 5/130
Centre bore: 72.6>71.6
Load rating: 1100KG

Just wondering I really want to keep comfort as much and protection ( roads in Sheffield Uk are horrid). Anyone gone for a bigger sidewall than the recommended 30 for rear and 35 front?

is that a square setup? haven't seen 10.5 in the front (not saying it's not possible). 21" and comfort don't really go hand in hand unless you have active ride? maybe go 20"?

I’m thinking of trying the Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 in the Panamera ND1 optional larger size:
Size: 275/35ZR21 (103Y) XL
ND0 Porsche Panamera

Size: 325/30ZR21 (108Y) XL
ND0 Porsche Panamera

I’ve seen a couple of members use this specific tire with OEM staggered 21’s successfully without rubbing. If you’re after a square setup the 325 width is unlikely to fit in the front.

I'd be matching Porsche rim widths and tyre sizes personally. Enough wear issues without going off piste!

J1.2 had the option of narrower rims and tyres which I believe had a big positive impact on range.

But as noted above, 20"s might be the way to go for "comfort".

I've also been nervous about aftermarket rims on such a heavy car.

(I didn't think the roads were *that* bad in Sheff, certainly not compared to the rural South East).

The fronts are 9J, sorry forgot to mention.

OEM rim widths are 9"/11“ and 9.5“/11.5" 🙂

The latter uses 265/35 and 305/30....

The former 245/40 and 285/35 tyres....10% ish more sidewall in these, and the narrower width means better range. I think these would work on the rim sizes you have, but check with the vendor.
