"Unofficial" Porsche response to the Registration unavailable problem

I was one of the few unlucky owners who had the "Registration unavailable" issue when I took delivery of the car. Hoped it would go away on it's way but sadly had to take car back to the dealership to get it fixed.

Found this in my car when I picked it back up! Just wanted to share in case there are other new owners with the same issue. My saleman and the "Porsche pro" who did my walk through knew nothing about this. Their advice was just to wait it out.

I had this problem since I took delivery. The dealer performed this operation for me yesterday and it resolved my issue. I have a green SOS light and I can now login with my id.

Had same Red light with SOS…but only the BS ho we need to update….for you to log in….car was simply not ready. Now I know what they did for 45 min….they did not even offer a coffee…

When I picked up my car this past Saturday, I couldn't log in with my email address and password. My sales advisor called Porsche and they suggested I text them. I did and by the next morning, my login was working. As part of the text message I attached a screen shot of the Connection screen which has the circle "Moblie device", "Taycan_number_5GHz", "Taycan", "Porsche server". The "Taycan" to "Porsche server" was greyed out until Sunday morning.

At the dealership the SA wiped out the Taycan config and changed my password. I then texted al these details. I'm not sure which step did the trick.

I met same problem, and my dealer solved it after couple hours, what they did is: Using their porsche maintenance laptop connect my car via OBD interface, then read the "VAL code" of my car, then send this "VAL code" to German Porsche, for a reset on server. After this, the porsche login button is working.

What you shared seems a different solution, I understand most of the text, but what is the "terminal 15" means in 4st item on the temporary solution list?

Tell them to send you a flatbed and tow the vehicle back to get this sorted. Threaten to complain to porsche or give them a zero on the customer satisfaction Survey. Read the last line in the photo, dealers are told NOT to deliver vehicles unless the problem is fixed, they're just lazy.

Yes, would love to know what this terminal 15 thing is. I plan on taking car back next week, but feel I will know more out the issue than they will.

I think it's means fuse 15. See this from another thread which recommends pulling flug 30.
