Updated OTA software, increase in range .....?

Had mine updated yesterday without any issues. Since then charged at night (home charger) to 100%.

Was surprised to see range showed up as 264 miles (std battery). Never seen above 245. Besides the OTA update (which primarily intended for battery) , I don't see any other variable (like weather etc) between this charge and previous ones , at least last 10 days.

Had a 50 miles drive today and the range went down by 51, not bad at all. Has any seen range improvement? .

I updated OTA today and my estimated range increased from about 262 up to 271. Small but noticeable difference for me.

Driven 155 miles so far, half the drive on a/c, ave speed 75-80 mph. E-miles calculation shows 158. Pretty happy !. Another OTA update to take it to 300 would be fantastic ?

The best way to gauge energy use is to look at consumption, not the guessometer. Mostly likely the software reset after the update and the guessometer is not reflective of your driving style yet.

I think you may have missed a point , I was comparing the actual miles vs e-miles. According to my first drive after the update, e-miles held up pretty close to actual miles !

I don't know what an e-mile is but looking at your consumption you are at 28kwh/100mi over a 50 mile trip so its probably a good reflection of your dirivng style.

The range indicator is simply dividing the remaining battery capacity by recent average consumption to calculate range left. It's highly variable depending on driving style.
