I have finally my VIN and expecting delivery by Middle of February. Unfortunately I am one of the unlucky ones ordering a RWD, where Bose Sound was canceled. I have no researched all the Threads here regarding Upgrading the Sound System and found lots of ideas and solutions like Caliber BC108US, Audiotec-Fischer, Rockford etc.

Maybe some Owners can post their Experiences in Upgrading their Soundsystem here with Parts and Costs? I have already asked some Experts in my area(Vienna, Austria) and I get many different prices ranges and ideas. It is quite a difficult task to find a trustworthy and experienced Audio Tuner here.

I am a music lover and count listening to music as my main leisure activity. I was pleasantly surprised by the standard system, it has low colouration, and even frequency response and good intelligibility and quite accurate on speech.

The stereo imaging isn’t that good in the normal car way, probably faux surround DSP would help here.

I listen to a lot of live concerts and have a good stereo at home but I decided it was good enough for my use in the car.

I‘ve done Mosconi Gladen high end sets in my mercs before, by professional award winning installers. They are not touching the Taycan, way to scared of the finicky electronics. Speakers only is no option you’ll need DSP to DE-EQ / RE-EQ and external amps. Weight is a thing too.
unless building a show car, I would NOT touch the Taycan.

I have found Original Bose Subwoofers and Speakers for the Taycan on some Online Shops. Anyone has experience with installing this?

You also need to BOSE FW in the headunit, otherwise filters will be skewed.

You'll also be needing an amplifier....and if going down the aftermarket amplifier route, while you are at it, i would have someone put together a tailored aftermarket subwoofer solution instead. It will undoubtedly sound much better.

I see this thread has stagnated a bit but no other new ones and I'm about to undertake exactly this work. I bought a Bose amp from a dismantler as well as the Bose sub, similar to the one above. My local dealer hasn't done an "upgrade" from base to Bose yet but asking around internally, no one seemed to think it should be a problem. Three shop hours is what they've quoted to install my amp. Funny that when I brought up the project with them at first, they recommended going to a local stereo shop and going third party. I may do that with the regular speakers. I'll post about the experience after the install, currently scheduled for Tuesday.

Closing the loop here, the dealership confirmed visually that there is no wiring present in my 2022 CT4 built with the base stereo to connect to the Bose amp.

I did the same with my 2022 CT and was told the same by dealer. ALSO, the base speakers use different connectors than the Bose speakers so it is not plug and play. The bracket dimensions are pretty much the same but... it just means you shouldn't buy Bose speakers from a dismantler thinking it will make upgrading easier. It won't.
I did find a company that sells the Musway amp DSP and a harness for Taycan. This is not an install for someone with no stereo/soldering/car trim experience as you have to cut room for the amp into the passenger footwell. You'll also need to disassemble the hidden compartment area in the trunk to physically fit the Bose sub box. That's a great sub box whether you use the Bose driver or upgrade to something else.
Here's the amp + harness kit. https://bilradiospes.no/tuneup/brsd...che-taycan-porsche-taycan-ct-st-2021--gt--9vk

And a video:
One big difference is my car didn't have the Bose at all so I didn't have the same mounting issues.
