A good ceramic coating will go a long way to delay the dirt covering up the rear, but it's really just a common thing about hatchback style vehicles. every one ive ever had has the same problem; mdx, golf, a4 avant, etc.

Change it for a saloon/sedan?
Its the classic Porsche shape and not 'that' much less practical.
Seats fold for long loads, its not as if the CT/ST is exactly spacious in the back.
Still not enough room for 6'2" kids.
The saloon is so lovely and pretty and smooth and its so aero there
is never any dirt on my backside and you don't need
an ugly rear wiper as the aero keeps the rear window clean!
Just a thought?
Actually, take a look at @tigerbalm recent photo of his current trip through Norway where the car (TTS saloon) has been driven some distance through snow and then parked underground - lots of stuck snow across the rear.

This is driving me crazy but does anyone else with a ST or a CT notice the rear of the car gets dirty really really quick compared to the rest? I'm starting to think maybe the car needs some mudflaps!
Ours seems to, but honestly it looks good dirty.

In Seattle, a dirty car sort of comes with the territory during the winter. As a result I've decided to bite the bullet and get a year-long pass to our local Brown Bear car wash. It is a soft cloth washing system (no brushes), and they have a "moving carpet" of sorts that pulls the car through without any steel bars to guide the wheels, which eliminates wheel damage. They also include ceramic coating as part of the wash.

Well, it's not a hand detail, and I still have to do the insides of the Mission-Es myself, but the car gets clean quickly and I love driving a clean car. ? I also think that frequent cleaning eliminates a lot of random paint damage from road soil, tar, etc. I think this is a much better solution than mud flaps (which I don't believe actually work anyway, and look like shit IMO).
