I just got a lock for a Turbo today. I heard from my dealer there were only 3 allocations for Taycan Turbos in the US so far. No availabilty for PTS or deviated stitching.

(Build code: PV9H7GR9).

I've got one. Put my order in May for a 4S black ST, and didn't get an allocation before production changed. I've been told an October delivery, but not gone locked yet (but should be soon - had call from dealership to confirm spec today). Got my Porsche day in a couple of weeks time.

UK obvs, being an ST. Sorry to my American cousins that STs aren't available there any more.

My sales person called me last week and said my allocation for a MY27 4S is available. I passed since I really wanted a new CT.

Ordered a 26' Turbo mid-March with allocation/welcome email from Porsche the next day. It was built late-June and is at Emden waiting on a boat right now, expect delivery mid-August. 5 month timeline.

Well, just got my email to confirm everything, and it's saying it goes into production 21 October, and then 6 weeks to get to me. Bloody December!!!!! On a car I technically ordered in May... Good job I really really want it

Congrats!

And yet, Porsche is somehow stumped why their sales are dropping. Someone tell them that if they don't have allocations and they limit people from buying expensive options (like PTS), well, the sales will suffer, since their idea of selling virtual Porsches didn't produce much revenue. Current prices of those virtual Porsches here

Full disclosure, I waited 20 months, called almost every dealer in the country, eventually (after model year changed and prices went up) found a single Taycan Turbo CT allocation across the continent, then drove it home 3,500 miles. I don't think I'd be willing to do this again. When it's time for next car swap, I will ask if Porsche has two Cayenne EV allocations for me (I tend to swap my and my wife's car at the same, time, his and hers cars), and if they have no allocations for me or want me to jump through hoops, I will just buy from a competitor who does have cars for sale - life is too short to wait that long for a car.

That is lightening speed for Porsche orders. I put my first deposit down in June 2021, picked the car up (from a different dealer) in Feb 2023. Had I waited for my original dealer, it would have been February 2024 (basing this on when they finally called me back with a possible allocation). Even back in 2001 when I ordered my fist 911, it took from April to December IIRC (so similar to yours).
