The OPC should be able to tell as the VIN will have an "urgent action" label .... at least that is what PRG told me
That’s interesting, thank you. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t want me to know, either way! I’m going to keep my fingers crossed and might try speaking to them again.

You can check what optional extras are on the car by entering your VIN on the myporsche website. This will not tell you if the battery is there but will at least let you determine if the car was built with Bose added.
I have done that but my OPC said that this list is what your original order was and doesn’t confirm what has and hasn’t been fitted?

Who is your dealer?
Maybe PRG or certain sales people know their way around the system better than others.

So I’m still waiting on my car getting a battery but I do not think that’s correct. I’ve watched way too many YouTube videos and recall at least this one: mentioning this was a way to confirm what options had been added.

Turbo here. Ordered on 12 November 2021 from East London. PEC driving experience on 13 May 2022. Build allocation received on 31 May 2022

Latest news from dealer is that the car completes production on 1 November (though previous build schedule from early October had expected production completing on 25 November, planned completion date was 21 October).

Been told it has a 12V battery and Bose fitted.

Now awaiting shipping news.

Ordered 31st June 2021 and supposedly going into build today, although I won't be holding my breath!
Bloody hell! I genuinely thought nobody else could be waiting longer than Frank (@f1eng) and his delay has been shocking. Hopefully the both of you will have your cars shortly.

Fingers crossed they find the stick welder and paintbrush!

I think you are (on this thread at least) the “winner”…

Mine was supposed to be finished last Tuesday. Prodded the dealer earlier in the week for an update. Still got nothing concrete as to if it’s built let alone near a port or boat.

It's so frustrating....when I ordered I was told best case end of Dec 21 and worst case Mar 22. I understand things have been pushed for various reasons but frankly the level on transparency from Cambridge hasn't been great. I had to call to find out 3 times for an update to be told that the estimated date had been pushed.

If you load the My Porsche app and add your order number it will give you dates for each phase.
Finish build is phase 4 in the UK and mine shows 31 July, then 16 August for phase 5. It hasn’t changed since though.

If yours went through production normally you should have those dates in the my Porsche app. It even eventually gives the VIN number so you can register it (not that that has helped me, I just get recall emails.

Yes, the dealer told me when I ordered in July ‘21 that their next build slot for a CT4S was end of October/ beginning of November with delivery expected by Christmas or early in the new year.
I would say either they either put other customers who ordered after I did in front of me in the queue or the chip shortage hit hard.
Then production took from April 16th to July 31st, 3 ½ months rather than the usual couple of weeks - presumably parts shortage though I dropped Bose and racetex B pillar to expedite things :( but the car is now mouldering in storage without its 12V battery.
You may well get yours before me and it will be a 2023 model too if being built now.

Yeh I’ve used the app, up until a few days ago it was still showing as “your vehicle is scheduled for production”.

Found it was about 2 weeks adrift of updates, as opposed to when advised by the dealer / build schedule entries, so I take it with a grain of salt. Especially today when it shows this…

Mine is showing what it has for the last 3 months. I was beginning to think mine may be amongst those being rectified and not far away. Perhaps not.
Must’ve been a glitch in the matrix for me. It’s back to showing “3. Your vehicle is now scheduled for production”. Oh well.

Also just found out from speaking to the dealer that given it is MY23 I will receive a second price increase, as my original order was MY21....What a joke. I understood that at a point where the car is stamped for build then the price would not be subject to change but doesn't seem to be the case.
