On Sunday, I came home from a ~100 mile drive and plugged my car into my PCCM in my enclosed garage. SoC was under 10%. Charging started normally and I went about my business. Maybe three hours late, I’m in my house and notice a quick dip in power (not. Full lights out failure). It’s uncommon where I live, but since the power didn’t go off, I didn’t give it much attention. A couple of mins later, I got a notice on my Porsche app that the car charging had stopped, or something similar. I went out and unplugged it and tried to plug it back in, but I could see the error in the middle console about unable to charge, or something similar.
The next day went out to the car and tried to plug it in again. Again, it failed. I checked the PCCM and it wasn’t powered, as it had tripped a breaker. Breaker rest and it still won’t charge. I get into the car and see the yellow ring “Electrical System Error”. Car will go into neutral but nothing else. I have other cars, so I figured let it sit and sort itself out. By this morning, I also got a “12 battery low” “Press Power button or connect charging plug”. Upon returning home this afternoon, it was completely flat…could not even open unlock the doors.
Car is a 21 Turbo on extended warranty from Porsche. I’m open to next steps. Some sort of trickle charge? I’m concerned that with nothing working, I cannot even get it into neutral for tow truck.
I've owned the car since October and its been mostly fantastic until now.
