Understandable. However, if a 30-second boot cycle really bothers you, I would suggest that you not purchase a Taycan (or any electric car, for that matter) at the current time. Can’t vote. I don’t have any sort of sound system in my sports car and hardly ever put the radio on in my main car and probably play something other than the radio less than once a month.
It would really p*ss me off if any aspect of the car - like delay in the sat nav working - was ever caused by anything that had to boot or needed to log on. That just spoils the main function of a car.
Are you sure Porsche navigation doesn't use MapBox? The Roads mapping App, by Porsche, uses both MapBox and I believe OpenStreetMap: Roads by Porsche. It would seem strange if this isn't the application being used for navigation.CarPlay any day.
Im sure, taycan navigation wont be accurate as the API they use isn't from TOM TOM or GOOGLE or MAPBOX.
Thanks, I may give up on one if it takes that long.Understandable. However, if a 30-second boot cycle really bothers you, I would suggest that you not purchase a Taycan (or any electric car, for that matter) at the current time.
I‘ve never seen 30seconds boot time. Thanks, I may give up on one if it takes that long.
