About a week before launch back in November - I have a Neptune CT 4S that I’ll be trading in, but GTS is the model to have I think.. expected late June but who really knows..Great stuff - when did you place your order?
That’s a great spec - how are you able to track your order via an app? Do you have to wait until you have an allocation?
The PEC people told me last week they have a GTS with and without PDCC now, so you should be in luck hopefully.I have PEC day booked for June, so hopefully it will be possible to test PDCC, however I drove a GTS ST without it this weekend and I couldn’t fault the handling at all.
...
I was keen on the Race Tex interior until I saw it this weekend. I just don’t think the quality matches the leather equivalent. Disappointing as I really wanted to like it! Will still have a Race Tex steering wheel though.
Not convinced on Lane Change Assist. I’ve not had it before and didn’t find it very useful on the demo car.
Definitely don’t want or need comfort access. I made the boot open once in five attempts. Waggling my leg around like an idiot with my wife laughing at me isn’t worth the extra £!
I like the look of the rear seats without the 4+1 option, and I’m too tall for anyone to sit behind me anyway, so it’s a 3 seater at best. Ditto for 4 way climate control.
I guess you must have specced a lot in the interior, which I’d love to do, but cannot possibly justify!
I was not aware it did that (re: power button). I’ll take a closer look next time I visit the OPC…We'll Comfort is a reasonable option actually - less waggle and more in and out hokey cokey is what you need. Easy when you know how.
The big thing apart from door opening is the lack of pressing the power button. Climb in sit down engage go.
I agree on the 22KW charger but have a different view on PDCC for a GTS. The question here is not whether or not you can live without it, the real question is whether or not PDCC would add to the GTS experience. GTS is for drivers that really appreciate the experience….which is (or should be) a more distinct class of Porsche buyer(s). If it enhances the experience for you, you should go for it. My 4S is spec’d with it because the smallest handling details are something I appreciate….even though the car is plenty capable without.I have PEC day booked for June, so hopefully it will be possible to test PDCC, however I drove a GTS ST without it this weekend and I couldn’t fault the handling at all.
I’m now agreed on the 22KW charger. It’s a no.

Not available in UK - US market only. That’s a great spec - how are you able to track your order via an app? Do you have to wait until you have an allocation?
Disgree. Porsche’s most sporty cars do not have PDCC (as standard or an option).I agree on the 22KW charger but have a different view on PDCC for a GTS. Interesting - not been communicated or mentioned in Porsche press releases of late.Apparently it IS available in the UK now.
Well, Member “STGTS” who posted the order tracker image is from the UK (and I assume has ordered the car from a UK dealer).Interesting - not been communicated or mentioned in Porsche press releases of late.
I don't have an allocation yet for my GTS but perhaps it will spring to life by then.
Ok…LOLDisgree. Porsche’s most sporty cars do not have PDCC (as standard or an option).
Comfort access is keyless entry, no? It is standard in Canada.Definitely don’t want or need comfort access. I made the boot open once in five attempts. Waggling my leg around like an idiot with my wife laughing at me isn’t worth the extra £!
