Had my update done last week and picked the car up on Saturday. I won't repeat what's doubtless been said many times before about the specifics. Instead I'll state the most surprising thing about the update (to me): I find myself using the PCM more than CarPlay. Don't get me wrong: CarPlay is definitely still better. But the PCM now, for me at least, clears the bar of "good enough to be usable."

The best part of the uPdate for me is that it has been far more stable. No more random error messages.

I just scheduled my ANA6 uPdate with the dealer. I take the car in 9/13/2022. I hope to get the alarm issue fixed in the same visit.

There's was separate update for that months ago.

Just dropped off my Taycan at the dealer for the update. However, the engineer asked for my MyPorsche account details, password and PIN to carry out the update, citing the update requires signing in and out multiple times.

Anyone else get this?

It's possible to log in without those.
Just allow automatic log in.
Or.....they suspect to loose your settings (which doesn't happen normally).

I dropped my car off this morning and had a call asking for the same thing. I never feel comfortable giving out those details and have never needed to do so before but I guess we don’t have much of an option ??‍

You can always change the password when they return the car.

AFAIK, alarm issue requires sensor replacement, so if your dealer don't have them, your problem won't be fixed by software update.

Yes, I am sure you are correct and I will have to bring the vehicle back. I just hope this starts the process.

Besides prior email notifications (for ANA6), I just got a physical letter from Porsche NA which now includes the uPdate to the PCM (was holding off on ANA6 until I could do both) - asked SA for a schedule slot to get this done.
