What’s the consensus on the best Taycan colour?

Exactly, if it were available as a regular PTS color, maybe. I would jump at it if it was an option like Carmine red where I could color-code the wheels and interior trim ! Anyways, I am putting off ordering the Taycan ST Turbo S, as I‘m reluctant to order now with the supply-chain issues and until I have a clue to whether or not there will be a facelift soon, or even a new generation of Taycan on the current platform. So for now I keep my E63S wagon for which I extended my service agreement and warranty for two more years until it is 7 years old, for only 100€ a month. Includes everything but tires and cosmetic damage. Wish Porsche offered similar ?

I think we all know about PTS and PTS Plus (its also on the configurator) but when a vendor takes the p!ss with their pricing it tends to put people off somewhat!

Agree. I am not a fan of GR, but then I'm not that keen on orange. And anything that's a standard colour on any other model and costs £12k on another is almost criminal and not worth it.

I would consider PTS+ if I ever get myself a Cayman EV or 911 one day, and I already know the three colours I would choose from - genuinely rare, so somewhat "justifies" the cost.

Your E63s choice is sensible and I can't say I blame you. From my understanding the new Taycan model won't appear until 2027, and besides, you already have a very nice Taycan, so no need to rush!

The four finalists were Voodoo Blue (#1 Seed) from the Non-Metallic group, Guards Red (#7 Seed) from the Classic group, Miami Blue (#5 Seed) from the Modern group, and of course, Sapphire Blue Metallic (#2 Seed) from the Metallic group.

Looks like people like to imagine themselves driving Ambulances(white), Firetrucks (red) and Police Cars (blue).

But its the Acid Green decals on those that get them noticed!

Then there are all the hearse drivers (black)..... Perhaps Acid Green decals for them is a step to far?

I agree with voodoo as number one but I’m biased of course. Parked my voodoo turbo S next to a shark blue 992 yesterday. It’s pretty close although shark is a touch darker but I think it’s only 3k option versus 12ish for pts

Alas you may need to put in a new order! Although it was seeded 1st, Sapphire and Miami pushed Voodoo into 3rd place!

Edit - Just been told it will be built in 10 days - But +/- 12V??? earliest hands-on-keys around 5th November (appropriate for the colour to us Brits)

That makes Mamba look really subtle…
Green is my favourite colour but Mamba was on the cusp of too bright for me and I was concerned until I saw it on a car and was delighted, I preferred Forest Green and BRG but was too tight to pay!

It really isn't IMHO.

All brighter colors make the black parts of the body come to life. Really like that on the Taycan. I also think, there are enough black, white and gray cars in this world... IMHO, of course!

I’ve been struggling with color choice for sure. I really liked Volcano Grey, then switched to Chalk……. I think I’ve settled on Ice Grey Metallic because it not only highlights the Taycans shape all the dark trim pcs pop more. I also like that the color changes a bit in different lighting. Just my 2 cents

seem with us. We were fully in the Volcano Grey crew and duly ordered it.

driving along our road I noticed all the cars were white, grey or black.

very next day I saw a turbo S in mamba and was hooked.

Changed my order the very nexr day
