UK order status and delays?

So today I was all set to take delivery of my Taycan at 2:30. At 12:30 I had a call……the valet guy had reversed it in to another car. You couldn’t make it up! 10 months wait and that happens.
I’ve negotiated for them to fit the Porsche Dash Cam for free whilst the new bumper is fitted, and they’ve also promised me other sweeteners. Absolutely gutted to be honest. I was so excited.
They have given me the blue 911 as a courtesy car until mine is ready. Even though it’s amazing, it’s not mine!
Could be worse obviously, and I’m still eventually getting my car, but stings a little bit after so long.

At least they are looking after you, but I'd still be gutted.... until I got it with free dashcam etc . Hopefully you'll be in it soon

Oh they been brilliant. Cannot fault them. My post wasn’t at all meant to be a dig at them, they have gone above and beyond to make it up to me. The 911 is a lot of fun though, really enjoying it! But cannot wait to get my taycan!

Sorry to read about that. Make sure you enjoy every minute of the 911 in the meantime and try not to worry about it too much.

Just been given the news my V300 milestone (build complete) has been delayed by a further 3 weeks... It's now November 4th. So it has slipped from Sept 30th to Oct 14th and now this.

Delivery date has slipped from Oct 28th to 18th Nov

Not sure I believe the 4th-18th Nov timeframe for delivery from factory to OPC - probably more like end Nov earliest.

Just been told by my dealer that having ordered April this year (Taycan GTS) that it’s going to be another 12 months before I even get a build slot. Most annoying - but what can you do ??‍??‍

Not many GTS delivered thus far, and a lot with order dates from Nov '21 without news yet.

I nearly fell off the chair. Car was built on Saturday and is now at Sheerness. Moving at Turbo speed through the system. Apparently it went into production on the first day that they started putting 12V batteries into the cars rather than producing them without. Feeling very bad for all of you who are waiting for ever. I do have a nice 4S going if anyone wants it to tide them over…

Was that production complete last Saturday or the Saturday before? I thought there was only 1 boat per week between Emden and Sheerness which sails on Wednesday arrives in Sheerness on Thursday.... I'll check the schedules to see if that has changed

Ok, so I am "happy" for those of you who have received your cars, but I am f*cking livid at the same time. Ordered my 4S CT October 2021, delays galore (originaly build was April....), the car left the factory on 25th July and is still not on a boat cos of this elusive 12V battery.

Surely they should be taking whatever batteries are being delivered and filling the cars that are missing them, not building more cars???

WTAF Porsche, sort this out.

Did have the Silverstone session today though, excellent experience, Colin knows his stuff.

Interesting. Completed Saturday just gone (5 days ago). Was in dealer today to collect 4S after its software update and was told it is on the boat. Message pinged up on his computer this morning. I asked which boat and when he looked on the boat tracker it was heading back to Emden. So he thought it must have been to Sheerness, dropped any cars and was going back already. Maybe he got it wrong, I don’t know

I ordered August 21. Built in June. Now expected delivery November. A shambolic experience so far. A first with Porsche and almost feels like salivate enough for 14+ month to get tired of it...

Could have been on the Malacca Highway which left Sheerness last night and arrived in Emden a short while ago?
