UK order status and delays?

I’m happy with it.
I promised to report on my opinion of the standard audio system I ended up with but haven’t managed to find how to switch it on yet.
That is to look for when not driving.

It was fully charged but went down a fair bit with the heater on whilst registering my key etc. The range predicted was, as expected poor.
200 miles t 97% iirc

You need to be very careful when you review the standard audio system:

There are a few on here who have been forced to accept the base system only, so they want to hear how great it sounds.

There are a few others who have been advised to upgrade to the Bose (or even Burmeister, if Bose not available) due to concerns with the standard system. They want to hear how bad the base system is!

Thanks, it wasn’t the fun drive home on familiar fast roads i had hoped, it is very foggy and my wife didn’t want to drive, so I ended up driving us there in her car then taking the short safe route home slowly with her behind me.
Anyway I am thrilled and champing at the bit to have a good drive.

I understand the chassis tech.
The rest I’m not so sure!
We tried to get Apple carplay going but it wanted Siri on, which I’ve never used so bailed out.
Now my first attempt to switch on the car radio has given a CarPlay on error which I am going to have to research to see if I am just in a wrong part of the menu.

I am used to unlocking my car, getting in and driving, switching the radio on if I wanted. I can’t do anything like that yet!

My biggest worry about your pick up was not the stereo, but worrying they might have run out of coloured leather and given you the black intrerior instead. ?

Suffering similar delays with my Crayon ST GTS. Apparently it’s been in the UK for 2 weeks but still not at the OPC and they’ve advised they can’t track or prioritise!

Incredible, isn’t it. 2022 and Porsche have a car then can park itself, but no way of telling the dealer where it is, once it has left the factory!

Do you know where the PDI is being done... at port or dealership. PRG do theirs at the port which is causing a delay atm. Mine landed in Sheerness on 24th but not showing as entering Sheerness until 28th so I assume that is port taking time to process through customs etc. SA says it is now waiting for PDI and expected date in Reading is on or before 9th Dec. They then need 2 days to do payment, registration, and final prep for handover.

Just had another update from SA (email 7pm on a Saturday night), having arrived in Emden 09/11 is now on a ship and on it's way! Appears to have only been at Emden ~3 days, hopefully as quick when it lands in the UK in the next day or so.

Finally had the call, it’s at OPC Nottingham and collection booked for next Wednesday. After lots of stops and starts think I might be finally there!

I just got an email from my dealership (Hatfield) that my ST will be arriving imminently and can collect it next week, made an appointment for Wednesday morning.
Now feeling excited again after waiting 3 months for the 12v battery.
