Why model did you order?

Many of us ordered in November and some of those orders have started to trickle through.. However, demand is high and supply is low.
Ordered the entry level one with bigger battery and some extras.

Ok. Clearly Porsche are prioritising higher margin models, but I'm surprised that demand is that high for the base model that you would not have been able to obtain an order within 12 months.

Have you tried other dealers?

Just in from Porsche Cambridge - the Green Goliath is ready to come to Blighty.
SA says January but I am fingers crossed Santa gets it here early ?
My CT4S arrived at Emden on the same day, 13th Dec. Finally, after entering production in September (5 weeks in production followed by a 2 month QA-hold comms black hole).

I was planning to cancel Jan 1st without this progress (I currently have deposits down on 3 other cars, one of which I could probably get by April/May 23).

Am now determined to contain my excitement given the PDI/delivery/Bose bear traps ahead. I'd be gobsmacked if it shows up this year. Fingers crossed for an uneventful handover before end of Jan.

Sure it’ll be fine and best of luck; we should have a “new car” meet up ?

Also patiently waiting for my T4S. System says was completed 8 Dec and exited factory same day. Deposit paid 10 May with Porsche West London

I remember a discussion between a few of us who had placed an order on the GTS on delivery day, speculating whether we could meet up at a planned EV event in July 2022...

If only you’d just said “July” and left it at that ?

Apparently these cars are really worth the wait, as long as you don’t read/worry about the millions of posts about all that’s wrong with them

Well, the good news is I now have a quarter of a garage built, so that should be finished in January, along with the Zappi 22kw charger, ready for the car. I also have a registration number ready for March 2023.

I just need a car now.

And breathe.… Order freeze date today and SA has gone home. I can now stop messing about with the configurator and dithering over options. At least I know I got the colour right; Mamba Green and no glass roof either. Build date is set for mid Jan for end Feb/early Mar delivery. Can’t wait!

Be great to see shots of your garage. I may get envious mind.

With the Green Goliath due shortly I have disappointingly given minimal thought to how I am going to charge the bugger at home.

My heart and head tell me the easiest thing to do is put a rated Commando socket in and order a 7-10m cable to feed the beast. However I am crap at enacting my decisions so will likely be scrambling around on day1 for a solution ?
