I wonder how the Porsche order process/wait times will change in 2023. Seems that there are so many variants changing from component availability, logistic, higher cost of living plus I would imagine a down tick with people cancelling orders or thinking twice about expensive purchases?

Stopped for a charge at Porsche Wolverhampton on Saturday, they had just had 6 new delivered that day.
I was there on 2nd Dec and there must have been half a dozen or more just delivered still with transport covering on them. I’ve never seen a fresh delivery at the dealer I’ve ordered from ??

I locked my configuration on Monday for GTS ST. SA was telling me how they have 90 cars going out in December. The more cars Porsche can put out in 2022, the more UK-wide allocation they get in 2023. Their total numbers will be up 6,000 next year compared to this year apparently. "The majority of which should be Taycans"

Well if all goes to plan then I'll be collecting my CT4S this Friday at 13:30! It was the only time slot they had as there are so many cars going out. They kept saying they were trying to fix the shipping damage and get everything ready for me this week as they need the car off their books so seems they are pushing hard to shift all their cars before year end.

Good luck @Rusk and @mangobay. Hope you get your cars!

Mine came back from a week at Topaz earlier today, and hopefully has a workshop slot to get PDI'd on Thursday - with a view to collect on either Friday or Saturday.

Praying for no last minute hitches with faulty HV heater and the like ✌

Hope the car is all good and nice Christmas present. I have a long wait for my brand new Taycan GTS given heater issues! I’ve given up hope I will be able to collect before February.

Picked the GTS ST up on the 13th from OPC, this weeks it’s had a machine polish, XPEL PPF and ceramic coat all ready for winter! ??

Hope everyone picking up this week have a smooth handover!

I'm happy with the job they did on mine, I was nervous as I'd never bothered with PPF before.

Still in debate about PPF. A good friend who has a DB11 said he wouldn't bother again as its just cost him £1200 to replace a bonnet section due to stone chips.
Keen to hear about others experiences ahead of my car coming in March.

I quickly discovered that with a light body colour, chips to the front apron are very prominent due to it being black underneath so I feared it would need running repairs (more than allowed under my smart repair policy). I was put off PPF installation initially as my dealership didn't offer to get it done for me. As it is, I payed for their ceramic treatment and a month or so later payed for PPF again and ceramic on top of that. I don't yet have a "PPF saved my life" experience to share, but it I can say that it certainly makes me a lot more relaxed about parking, navigating narrow country lanes and being within a few hundred metres of the vehicles in front on motorways :)
