Dang, beautiful car and jealous! assuming you ordered from Harris Porsche? when did you order? i ordered on Jan 3rd and i've been pushed from an estimated 4/17 delivery to 6/12 now
Correct, Harris Porsche. Great experience. I received an allocation in October, locked in the build on December 7, entered production January 21, delivered March 11.

sweet. I also ordered for them. Hopefully your timeline (5-6m) matches up to mine and I’ll get it in June.

I am very and lucky and grateful to be able to stay and report in this thread that I have received my car. It was produced between 2/11-2/16 and arrived at my local port on 3/15 and then came to my dealer on 3/16 and picked up the car on 3/18. All dates appeared accurate to TYD within a day or two. The car has all the options configured, although I likely have the old heater based on what has been reported, but not at all concerned about that.

The VLC roof which was of some mild consternation due to reports of defects, is working perfectly and other than being a superficial novelty, certainly not needed.

I sincerely wish all those in this thread will have a successful March delivery and all goes smoothly for you. I truly understand the anticipation and frustration with what Porsche has been doing with this heater debacle. I wish I knew their algorithm with respect to which cars are getting held up and which ones are not.

best wishes.

Here are an overload of pictures (you can see what the B pillar covered in Racetex looks like and the aluminum Rhombus trim with Dark silver accents for those interested)

Amazing news @nischalr very happy you got it that gives us all hope we will get ours soon specifically related to heater delays. Also, very thoughtful to add Aluminum Rhombus pictures and B-Pillar Alcantara. I decided to go with Interior Accents in Exterior color instead on the Ice Grey with Black/Chalk interior like yours and then mine is not a GTS so I went with Pillars in Leather. I wonder if you could post pictures of the sill guards and rear seats. I have the same taste as far as Chalk belts and 14-way with Massage, wonder if you can report on how you like that feature.

Well, SA just emailed me to update on what I already knew, that the ship is arriving later today and he said to expect my car by the end of next week.

Yay I am so happy for you!!!!! Car is gorgeous!! You got my wheels too! My car is at Baltimore and no change to TYD yet, and now I'm wondering which direction I've jinxed myself towards the most! I have a bunch of parts and accessories, but no financing or outlet installed ? . Oh yeah, and no PPF appointment bahahah. Watch that my whole delivery would have ended up as smoothly as yours if I hadn't driven myself batty on the internets.

Congratulations again and beautiful pics!

Thanks!

I was tempted to do the exterior color interior trim as well, but chickened out in light of the blue being a little more obvious on the chalk interior.

All the leather trim on your build is going to look amazing!

Here are some additional pictures. I do like the Massage seats quite a bit, they are surprisingly more powerful than what was on my Wife's E-tron SUV and my previous S8 in the past. No regrets there for sure.

I did stick with the 2+2 seating because my use case would never use the center seat and also I preferred not having a center headrest and did not want a non matching black center seatbelt with my other chalk belts.

My build : Porsche Code link - PPCIE989

Thanks Annie, I believe I did all the things to jinx myself the most and everything went ok. Hopefully that means you will be posting next week with similar pictures!

Just gorgeous interior @nischalr. Cannot wait for mine and I did the same 2+2 as I like symmetry and no way I am putting anyone in the middle no matter what, Cayenne is for that. Very appreciative for you to take the time to make and share the pictures, super helpful, as I am not frozen yet.

Congratulations! Looks beautiful. Those wheels are really starting to grow on me. I'd have spec'd the Mission e for my wife's build, but she preferred the standard Turbo Aero. ?‍♂

@annieland I see the Siem Cicero has arrived at the Port of Baltimore. One more hurdle cleared.

I'm uncertain when we'll see ours. I'll be gone most of next week...just home for a few hours Saturday, so if it has arrived at the dealer by then, maybe we'll go visit it. The dealer will be handling PPF/Ceramic, with the expectation it will be completed no later than the end of this month.

Our configuration

You mean you won't be here to hold my hand as I pace back and forth for the next 5 days?? ?

At the moment I don't even care about the paint protection stuff. Knowing me, it'll get a rock chip on the way home and I'll just be like, oh well too late, $8k back in my pocket. I'm just freaking because I'm gonna have to plug it into a light socket I think, and the dealer probably won't let me put this on a credit card. Schwab still wants to "approve" the six figure transfer out I requested, and I gotta get back to the bank lady I totally ghosted 2 weeks ago. I have no clue why I went from 90% pessimistic to optimistic in 72 hours with absolutely no real justification.

Until I can post pics with my brand new iPhone purchased to match my interior, this is my wacky build if anyone is interested:

A Pink Car (I know it's option-heavy but I didn't want it too sporty)

I'll wave at you on my way to ORD Saturday night.

I see you selected the blackberry interior. That should work nicely with your exterior color choice. We ended up with blackberry/slate. I was not entirely on board with that choice, but at the end of the day it's going to be my wife's car. I think it will look okay with the Dolomite Silver exterior. I wish we could have seen blackberry/slate in a car, in person prior to odering.

Oh yeah, that combo is perfect for your car. I considered it too, but I had so much gray in my previous Hondas (Civic, CR-V, Odyssey) that I just got tired of it. I prefer lighter interiors, but after seeing so many showcase Taycans in Frozen Berry with the Blackberry leather, and the samples at the dealer, it was a no brainer. The wood trim with it might be the first such pic posted here though.....

Annie, I think the wood is going to look amazing and can't wait to see real life pics. You have such a tasteful and sophisticated build! Too bad you can't get Paldao wood key fob trims!

OMG The ship left for Houston!! I thought it would be there at least into tomorrow! So we were processed?? Oh geez, now I'll just keep refreshing TYD to see what changes.

Thank you for the build compliments @nischalr !! I just keep telling people "I'm getting a pink car with purple seats and WOOD!" They give me a really weird look like, "Oooook Annie... sounds about right for you." Gotta keep expectations low! :D

I hadn't even noticed wood as an option. You might have a 1 of 1.
