I am thinking of selling the base 19 inch Taycan S Aero wheels and tires that come with my build as soon as it arrives. I'd prefer to pick up some 20 inch after market ones. Has anyone successfully sold these before? If so, how much were you able to get for them? Should I try selling them as a set?

Given their low demand (won't fit over most Taycan brakes in the first place never mind the size/looks) and the (low) price you would need to sell them I'll give you a tip when it comes to Porsche's as this may be your first.

They are worth more to you to put in storage until you sell or trade in the car. ie your Taycan will retain more value if it matches the build sheet on resale and even more so on trade in.

Perfect advice
Not so bad if you sell a Taycan with official 20 or 21 wheels but even if you do
its better to sell the car with the 19s and keep or sell 20/21s separately
Porsche wont want a Taycan with aftermarket wheels for sure

I had two sets of 19" standard rims and exchanged them for new 21" spiders GTS (I had to pay an extra 3,200 euros)

As others said, keep the wheels for winter duty or as 'original equipment' - probably worth more that way.

Having said that, I've been looking for a set of 19" wheels (winter duty) but they're all way out East. (Admittedly, everything is a long way from PNW.) If you decide to sell them when you get your car, please DM me.

Hmmm this is good information, thanks folks. Maybe a better option would be to get 19 inch after market wheels and reuse the tires on those so they don't sit there the next 10 years wearing down. I'm assuming that should be fine, right? This is all new to me, haha.

Interesting, is this because the 19s are smoother/quieter?
Taycan is my wifes daily - and its more just a car to her. Overall i choose it for the utility - it goes offroad, to the ski hill, to the ocean - you name it! We are less careful about it. So 19" with the extra rubber is the right choice for us. It does help with comfort and range (added bonus). I absolutely loove the 21's and they are amazing - just not enough rubber for what we use it for. I do have the 19's in silver for my winter rubber and black accent for summers - i dont run all seasons now that i have my rims setup. The look was very different at first coming from the insane looking 21's but im used to it now and actually think it looks good - my wife likes it as its less flashy - she is forced into driving an insane looking and performing porsche, but her fault when she married me and plays along :)

I purchased a set in perfect condition with tpms and conti tires (1/2 wear) for $1350 on ebay. That was a good price. I've seen most at $1500. Shipping will cost the buyer $300-$400. They will be a pain to ship. You can wrap the wheels in tyvec or similar and then cut 8 pieces of heavy cardboard circles and then wrap tape to keep the cardboard on the back and front faces. Then UPS.
