New Porsche Recall/"Stop sell" - any details?

Mines been in Jacksonville for 2 weeks now. I’m being told next Friday it should leave but no reason why it’s been there just sitting all this time…friend of mine got a gt4 last month that was at the port less than 24h

Mine is stuck in Jacksonville as well. What is your delivery date in TYD? Mine is slated to leave tomorrow and arrive at the dealership Friday. But naturally I'm worried that won't happen.

All mine could tell me was that German HQ had asked them to send a VAL report from the car. They were advised it could take 3-4 days for them to analyse and revert with go / no go opn whether they could release the car to me.. The SA had no clue what Porsche were looking for or how long it would take if they found something amiss

The dealership have been excellent but they are as much in the dark as we are.

Just an email from Porsche to say that they’ve noticed I haven’t registered my new vehicle with My Porsche yet!! No shit Sherlock!!

No idea, but I imagine it was Thursday - no idea why they would have waited, as they want to give me my car so that they can get their own car back!!

Yeah who knows. The original delivery date was June 9th but got pushed up into may so i got excited. so i guess i should temper my expectations lol. It could very well be they dont have enough contracted carriers to deliver cars so they're waiting until they can fill up a truck before they send me my car who knows.

I’m waiting for a sport tourismo 4s to be delivered and got the following message from the uk dealership last night ….

The car has arrived on site, however, Porsche have announced a stop sale on all Taycan’s and they must have an update before they can be released, the only problem is they have not told us what the campaign is for / when we can expect for these to be resolved so bit of a waiting game really.

So I guess there’s no option but to wait and hope it’s a minor software update or something which can be resolved quickly.
