As per title, 12 months now seems like nothing. Scared my wife with the acceleration on the way home, scared myself on the motorway how quick it reaches 90-100. Otherwise all good and driving through our thin village isn’t nearly as bad as I was worried about.

apparently I was very lucky to miss the stop sale - 15 cars sat there today waiting.

@lwc1001 the factory pics were dated 13th May so presumably it finished soon after that. Very quick turnaround from factory to my driveway!

It seems like late April and very early May build completion dates are the ones being held up so you have done well to miss that ?

Dang I'm jealous of how classy and beautiful this reveal was. When I picked mine up it was dirty from being left out in the rain the night before and they hadn't washed it yet. I was quite displeased at purchasing a 6 figure car and seeing a filthy car at pickup.

Naa... Mine was built April 23rd and no stop sale. I actually collected it 2 days before stop sales were announced.

Not entirely sure how that rules out late April builds for the quality hold. I’m not referring to the stop sale. It may also be specific to certain models only.

Just pointing out that nobody really knows which cars were stopped. I thought it was mid April first, then early May, then hear people with cars built early April were affected too.

At this point nobody knows for sure (except maybe Porsche itself)

There is no consistency in the communication. Mine was completed on April 24th and put on stop when it reached the dealer.

A family member works for another performance car manufacturer and confirmed no stop sales had been reported to the industry, which is normal practice. If it is a battery issue, you would expect other vehicles that share it to be on stop too, such as Audi etron.

Only Porsche really knows....
